Passport to the Georgia Coast:

Happy Exploring!

You’re in luck: there’s so much to explore right here, in your very own backyard! From history and culture to our wildlife and wild places, Georgia’s 100-mile coast has it all.

Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to visit each and every one of these awesome destinations on your coastal Georgia journey. Unforgettable experiences await you at every turn. You’ll meet horseshoe crabs, snakes, and baby alligators, get muddy in the salt marsh, look inside replicas of historical ships, explore lighthouses and historic landmarks, and learn about Georgia’s sea turtles – and that’s just the beginning! At each location, make sure to ask for your special passport stamp. Collect them all, and don’t forget to jot down your observations along the way in your Naturalist’s Notebook. You can download a copy of your Passport below or pick one up at one of the 17 participating places below.

The Passport to the Georgia Coast was made possible by a generous grant from the M.K. Pentecost Ecology Fund. Please join us in thanking them for their commitment to coastal education and conservation.
